The Creative Soul Cafe! 

These are the opening words to my new radio shaow beginning on Monday 15 November 2010! 

And here is the transcript to introduce the show that starts next week!

Why do I teach vision boards?

Simply because I love them!

I love the way they can take what is barely conscious in me or you and help us manifest our truest desires into the world.

At the beginning of the year I started a new vision board.

This one was rather special because I was at a major changing point in my life and I knew I was beginning a new cycle - A cycle of 9 years - And for the first time in my life I wanted to create that cycle consciously.

Now I have to tell you that I have never been one to work well at long terms goal setting so not only was this strange to me but I had great difficulty comprehending how BIG a 9 year cycle would be or what it would look like.

So rather than be immobilised at taking such a huge step of filling in all the details for those nine years, I went the other way and asked myself a question – and the question was - what would I like to be feeling in 9 years time?

This was much easier for me to answer as it did not bog me down in particulars but gave me great broad brush strokes that I could use as intentions for my being .  I’d like to share these with you here – they were:

• Peace inside and out, 
• unconditional self love,
• joyfulness in the everyday expression of my life,
• being happy and enthusiastic creating – as in writing, painting etc the ones that give me joy and make my heart sing!
• that I am always expressing the very best of me into the world and that my personal best benefits myself, others and the world I live in.

On my first board at the beginning of the year I wanted to add the words- 'radio show'. I had no idea why or what it would mean or how it would manifest. All I knew was that I needed to include radio show.

As friends came and I shared my board with them they would say – "What’s this about a radio show?" and I would shrug my shoulders and go – "I don’t know – but time will reveal what it means and when".

As I progressed with my work I realised that having a radio show would enable me to get my message out to more people, more quickly – but still it was not the major focus.

Since that first board I have revisited and redone 3 vision boards. This usually happens when we get clearer about where we want to be. Our core passions as I mentioned before start to become clearer in our consciousness. Each board had to have ‘radio show’.

One day in September I saw an online advertisement for the law of attraction network – yes that’s right – this one that I am now a radio host on!  

It stopped me in my tracks because I knew it would the radio show I was looking for.

I sent a preliminary email and the rest as they say is history!

So what was it that made me follow up on all those  ’hunches’? 

Well it was one of the intentional statements I mentioned earlier – it was

 I am always expressing the very best of me into the world

and my personal best benefits myself, others

and the world I live in.

This is the reason I am doing this show. I am going to trust that at each show I will give you my very best and that it will benefit and support you in your direction as well.

That you will be able to take what I’ve learned apply it to your life and reap bigger and better benefits with it than I have. I am hoping that what I share with you and the guests that I bring to the show will add to the richness of understanding you have and will give you the impetus to get going, keep going or expand even further than you ever dreamt possible.

The format of the show will I hope enable you to learn new skills and also have a chance to practise them because every 8^th show will be a full on mini workshop aimed at consolidating the wisdom we have received from the previous 7 weeks.

Remember getting good at consciously creating the life we love requires us to get some practise – and these workshop sessions will allow you to do just that!

At the end of the workshop you will be able to download an e-book that covers all the points of the workshop and it is completely free to listeners.

The Creative Soul Cafe is a place where you can come to have a break from where you’ve been and be where you are; a place to relax, take a cup of your favourite beverage and learn more about consciously creating the life you will love to live in.

I hope that we will become a community of like minded consciously creating friends who enjoy the show, laugh and smile lots and get to develop mastery at this creating stuff and have some fun along the way!

I would like to assure you now that I do not have all the answers, in fact none of us have all the answers, only the ones that are suitable to our experience -  but I’m willing to share mine with you so that you can realise how much easier it will be to follow yours. For in truth I am not a guru or a teacher, I am merely a facilitator and guide – I hold the lamp to shine light in the dark corners of yourself where your greatest treasures are kept.

I will be introducing you to experts in the field from across the world – but with a ‘down under’ flavour – sometimes coming from another part of the world gives a different nuance and enables new understanding.

I hope to bring you other guests who are just like you on the pathway learning and offering up what they’ve learned as they have developed their skills and followed their passion.

During the first 8 week series I am concentrating on providing you with support tools for the journey. This is because I do not want you to fail at the first hurdle.

I want you to gain confidence in what you are learning & doing;  thereby building your self esteem as you go.

As we move forward we will explore all of the universal laws -  for the law of attraction is but one – and an understanding of the others adds to your understanding and mastery.
